When I first saw this video, I wasn’t going to put it up on the blog because nothing really happens. Then I realized that nothing happened because this just might be the worst protest stunt ever. If you are reading, Mr. Hungarian Protest Guy, here’s where you went wrong:
- You only had enough material for three egg throws.
- Your eggs did not hit the intended target.
- Upon finishing your tirade, instead of storming out of the room, you had to wait as everyone politely stood up and let you pass.
- You used magic marker to make your protest shirt.
Words cannot describe the horror.

Microsoft put this “amnesty bin” in their Zune department with the idea that their employees will voluntarily trash a piece of equipment that they spent a few hundred bucks on. I wonder if anyone actually puts in an iPod that isn’t already broken.
Also, I think Ford or Nissan should make a huge box like this where their employees could throw away cars they own that were manufactured by their competitors. That would be a much cooler visual.
