This trailer has made its way out to the web before the studio wanted to release it, so the video is likely to be pulled.  I’ll keep an eye out for another source if it vanishes.

1991 saw an ill-fated, direct to video movie version of Captain America.  Much like the unreleased Fantastic Four film, it winds up being entertaining based on sheer comic value.  Here are some clips, mashed up with the best song from Team America.

Interesting side note, I’m writing this from a hotel in Virginia and was directed to this particular video by the hotel manager after we struck up a conversation that centered around a theory of Batman being the Johnny Cash of comics.  My point is simply that I belong to a secret underground network of nerds.  We are everywhere.  Even in the 1940′s:
